***********************************
*UPDATE ON USSD TRANSACTIONS*

Kindly be informed that you are now required to pay a fee of ₦6.98 to your Mobile Network Provider for every banking transaction carried out on all USSD banking platforms.

This means that when you access any banking service using USSD, a fee of ₦6.98 will be charged to your bank account, which is in turn *remitted in full by the banks* to your Mobile Network Provider. The Banks only collect and remit the fees on behalf of the Telecom Providers for use of the USSD platform.

Those who are quick to blame banks for these charges, kindly take note and don’t call out banks for these charges. Make sure you keep tabs of all your USSD transactions

_If you learnt anything from this, kindly share with someone out there._
