What are the things businesses should do to improve on their Customer Service?
Here are a few of them:
¶Be very clear who a customer is
¶Treat them like human beings and not just mere statistics
¶Listen to them to understand and not just to respond.
¶Communicate well with the customer and do not judgementally profile them.
¶Don’t match wit with a customer.
¶You cannot be wrong by being polite and courteous with a customer
¶Your customer is the one paying your salary and not your employer, the customer is the real employer.
¶Go the extra mile in treating the customer beyond his or her expectation
¶Appreciate a Customer for bringing business to you at every point in time. A good example is how banks staff treat their customers, by welcoming you to their bank and thanking you for banking with them.
¶Genuinely apologise when the customer raises a concern and address the matter. Deliberately ask for referral or feedback of your service.
With all these, you will have less Customer Service issues, trust me.
